Target Audience

Our film's target audience is young adults, as our genre is a tragic drama, it attracts the hearts of young adults, more specifically most females, as it has a heavy romantic element. Their ages are ranging around 15-25, again mostly female. This will attract audiences from all over the country, not specific to any certain part, as well as all education levels. It does have room to attract other types of audiences due to the science element of memory loss, and gaining it back, as well as the lead character being in the army.

Revised Script/Scenes for 3/9 Re-Shoot

Ryder Voice over- (voice memo form to be put over the flashbacks with soft music underneath) Dear Elena, I wish I could tell you everything is fine, but i can't lie to you. I'm being sent home next week. A few weeks ago when we were stationed along the coast, a bullet hit the side of my helmet causing severe head trauma. Script Revision

We are re-writing and editing parts of our script so that it makes more sense as to what the plot of the film is and leaves more suspense for viewers to want to view the rest of the film. Initial Script for Voiceover: Dear Elena,     About a year ago when I left for the army, I was so upset to have to leave my best friend behind. I couldn't stop thinking about you and all of our memories together.  One day in combat we were unexpectedly attacked and I got hurt causing severe injuries to my head and brain causing our memories to slowly fade away. I still have enough memories of you to remember how much you mean to me but I know they will soon be gone. I just want you to know I'm sorry. Help me remember.  Love,   Ryder Revision: Dear Elena,   I wish I could be here for you when you read this, to help you understand. And even though I may be physically, i know it won't be the same. I'm so sorry. I know you were waiting for me to come bac...

Re-shoot & Re-Casting

My group has decided to re-shoot the entire film with a different male lead, instead of re-doing just some clips. We want to improve the plot and continuity of the film. We are keeping the female lead, but using a different male lead. We are are changing the role of the male lead from being her best friend to her boyfriend/fiance. Our new male role, Ian Bain, is apart of the military and has the uniforms from it which we can utilize in our film as it follows a boy who got hurt in combat who came home. It will also help our voice over make sense as we can have the male read his own letter instead of the inner monologue of the girl. The reason for this change in casting is because of the availability of our last male lead as well as how we want to keep it on a serious note and these two leads have more chemistry to be able to follow the original script of the two being in love rather than dating. Also the last version of the film, following the memories taking place in it, the cast wor...
